Lorain Community Music Theater announces auditions for “Mamma Mia”.
Lorain Community Music Theater will hold auditions for their summer musical, “Mamma Mia.” Audition dates are as follows: Sat., March 14 from 1 pm – 4 pm; Sun., March 15 from 2 pm – 5 pm; Sat., March 21 from 2 pm – 4 pm.
Auditions will be held at St. Peter School, located at 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, and those auditioning should sign-in at the school gym. A list of character roles are listed at

LCMTshows@gmail.com, and updates can be found on the organization’s Facebook page.
Those auditioning will be asked to sing a 32-bar cut in a vocal selection that reflects the style of the show. Bring your sheet music in the proper key. Auditions will not be permitted with any electronic accompaniment, nor in acapella format. Dress for movement, as a dance sequence will be taught. Plan on staying for the entire time indicated on the audition date. All roles are open, and we are in search of a multi-generational cast of performers, ages 10 and up.
The “Mamma Mia” production staff includes: Monica Olejko, Director & Choreographer;’ Anthony Trifiletti, Musical Director; Craig Koehler, Producer. Performances will be held at the Lorain High School Performing Arts Center on July 10, 11, 17 & 18, 2020 at 7:30 pm and July 19 at 2:00 pm.
