Auditions will be held on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 22nd from 1-5pm. Actors can sign-up for a 10 minute audition slot here:

Callbacks will take place on Sunday February 23rd from 1-5pm.
Rehearsal will be 2-3 times a week. Days TBD based on cast members’ availability.

May 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th. Friday/Saturdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays/Sundays at 2pm. Production will take place at PPMtv Studios (2nd Stage) in Portsmouth, NH.
| ACTORS MUST PREPARE |
A 1 minute monologue, in the style of the show (it's a dark comedy... with puppets).
Actors are encouraged to demonstrate their southern accent during their monologue. Actors may be asked to do a cold read from the script in their best Texan accent. Puppet work/experience is a plus!

This play takes place in Cypress, Texas and all characters should speak in a southern accent. Jason, Margery, and Jessica all use puppets in this show. There is strong language. Please see character descriptions below for more details.
**ACTORS MUST BE 18 + TO AUDITION DUE TO MATURE CONTENT**
Again, this play contains mature content. This involves intimacy/fight choreography, language, etc. Actors should be prepared to work on this material in a closed rehearsal space.
| CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS |
Jason/Tyrone
17 years old. Timid, awkward and self-conscious, but a brilliant puppeteer. He is close with his mother and has a crush on Jessica. He has a lot of pent up anger. He is like Jekyll and his puppet, Tyrone, is Hyde. Tyrone takes control over Jason as the story progresses.
Margery
Jason’s mother. Her husband passed away and she has been lost since then. She teaches the puppetry class for the youth ministry. Must be comfortable with aggressive intimacy with Timothy.
Pastor Greg
Pastor of the church and overseer of the youth ministry program. He has a thing for Margery. Keeps things professional...mostly.
Timothy
17 years old. Too cool for Sunday school. Loves to pick on Jason and Jessica. He is deeply in love with Margery. Must be comfortable with aggressive intimacy with Margery.
Jessica
17 years old. Always a logical thinker and problem solver in times of chaos. She’s the object of Jason’s affection. Her puppet Jolene is a sexy little thing.
