Announces Auditions for
GHOSTWALK 2019

The Santa Paula Theater Center announces auditions for the 25th annual October Theater in the Streets project, GHOSTWALK, running from Oct. 11 - Oct. 27 - Fri, Sat 6-9pm and Sun. 6-8pm
The auditions will be held on Tuesday August 13th and Wednesday Aug. 14th from 6-9 pm at the Santa Paula Theater Center, 125 South 7th Street in Santa Paula. Directors are Elixeo Flores, Leticia Mattson, Mitch Stone, and Colette Swan.
This year's GHOSTWALK event will begin at the old Fumigation Building located at 845 E. Santa Barbara Street in Santa Paula Ca. There are many flexible opportunities for principal players, supporting players, and extra roles. Both experienced actors and other interested participants are encouraged to come out. All players are essential and will be costumed and made up. Below is a sampling of key roles available:
? Ring Master. Any gender. Age range 25-65. Costumed role. Key role. This role can be filled by multiple players depending on casting availability.
? Young boy. Male. Age range 12-14. Costumed role. Key role. This role can be filled by multiple players depending on casting availability.
? Conjoined Twins. Daisy/Violet. Female. Age range 20-30. Costumed role. Key role. This role can be filled by multiple players depending on casting availability.
?Dog Faced Lady. Female. Age range 30 - 40. Costumed role. Key role. This role can be filled by multiple players depending on casting availability.
? Mabel Stark, Tiger Tamer. - Female. Age range 20 - 65. Costumed role. Key role. This role can be filled by multiple players depending on casting availability.
? Tiger – Male or Female. Age range 20 - 70 This is a voice role. The Tiger is a large puppet that will be manipulated by a team. The Tiger voice may be within the troupe or could be off stage and speak via speaker. This role can be filled by multiple players depending on casting availability.
? Ghost Attendees - Male and Female. All age ranges. This is a good opportunity for friends and families to participate in GhostWalk. There are no memorized lines although we may ask you to ad-lib some lines. This is a costumed role. The idea is to have ghosts bustling around the circus entrance. Commitment can be for the entire run (every weekend) or you can elect to participate only one weekend or even just one night (must be the full evening).
? Clowns, tight rope walkers and other circus performers - Male and Female. All age ranges. This is a good opportunity for friends and families to participate in GhostWalk. There are no memorized lines although we may ask you to ad-lib some lines. This is a costumed role. This team of performers will come out and parade when the big top act begins. Commitment can be for the entire run (every weekend) or you can elect to participate only one weekend or even just one night (must be the full evening).

HOW: Attend in person at the address listed above. No previous experience required to audition.
Note* Parking is currently not available in the Union Bank Lot adjacent to the theater. Free parking available on Main and 7th St. around the theater.
