FIDDLER ON THE ROOF AUDITIONS
The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center will hold open auditions for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF on Monday and Tuesday, July 13 & 14 from 7 - 10 pm at Madilyn Clark Studios in North Hollywood and Wednesday and Thursday, July 15 & 16 from 7-10 pm at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. Rehearsals begin the week of July 26.Readings and a dance call will take place at the invited callbacks on Sunday, July 26.
Performances run Sept. 12-Oct. 18 (Fri. & Sat. at 8 p.m.; Sun. at 2 p.m.; with two Thurs. performances Oct. 8 & 15) at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley, CA.
All roles for this classic musical are open except Tevye. However, we are seeking a Tevye understudy. Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is a non-union, non-paid community-based theater in Simi Valley, CA.
Fiddler on the Roof will be directed by David Ralphe, with musical direction by Mazie Wilson and choreography by Becky Castells.
AUDITION & SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Auditions will be by appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. For an audition appointment, submit headshot and resume and when you would like to make an audition appointment. Walk-ins will are also welcomed and will be taken in the order of sign-ins. Prepare a classic Broadway selection that best showcases your vocal skills. Bring sheet music in your key. Accompanist will be provided.
