DRACULA - The Grove Theatre Non Equity Auditions

The Grove Theatre announces auditions for Dracula, which is running on weekends from Feburary 27th through March 15th. Auditions will be held at the theatre on Thursday, November 20th from 6 pm – 9 pm, and on Saturday, November 22nd from 10 am - 3 pm. All roles are open. Director: Julio Villegas.

ARTHUR HOLMWOOD An average, quiet homebody who will fight when pushed. He becomes engaged to his childhood love, Lucy.
Male, 30-45 yrs old Range: C3 - F#4

COUNT DRACULA Mysterious, passionate, and seductive. The vampire leader who desires a change of scene in hopes of obtaining fresh blood.
Male, 40-50 yrs old Range: G#2 - Ab4

DR. JACK SEWARD A logical and practical director of the local insane asylum. He becomes a potential suitor of Lucy's later in the story.
Male, 25-35 yrs old Range: C3 - F#4

JONATHAN HARKER The straightforward Englishman devoted to Mina. He is a suave lawyer who travels to Dracula's estate.
Male, 25-35 yrs old Range: Bb2 - A4

LUCY WESTENRA The typical slightly naive, beautiful ingenue who is a loyal friend to Lucy. She is engaged to Arthur.
Female, 25-35 yrs old Range: A3 - G5

MINA MURRAY Strong, intelligent, and capable of great passion, she is the fiancee of Jonathan.
Female, 25-35 yrs old Range: A3 - F4

PROFESSOR VAN HELSING Experienced in the strange and obscure, he is charismatic and intellectual yet has strong emotions and is a born leader.
Male, 40-50 yrs old Range: Bb2 - G4

QUINCEY MORRIS A simple, good-natured Texan who is always up for adventure. He competes for Lucy's affections.
Male, 35-45 yrs old Range: Bb2 - F#4

RENFIELD Obsessed and insane, but with a conscience underneath. He is Dracula's faithful servant with a meek demeanor.
Male, 30-40 yrs old Range: D3 - C#5
