DIARY OF A WORM, A SPIDER & A FLY and HOW I BECAME A PIRATE - The Rose Theatre

The Rose To Host an Audition on May 12 for

“Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly” and

the National Tour of “How I Became a Pirate”

The Rose Theater will host an audition at 12 pm on Saturday, May 12th for adult roles in

two of its upcoming productions: “Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly” and the National

Tour of “How I Became a Pirate.” Adults, ages 18 and older, are welcome to audition and

must come to The Rose Theater, 2001 Farnam Street, prepared to perform 16-20 bars of

memorized music and a one-minute comedic monologue.

An accompanist will be provided, but sheet music needs to be supplied. The audition will

also require a cold reading and demonstration of dance movement.

Public/School performances of “Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly” will be presented

during the day at The Rose Theater. Actors must be available for weekday, daytime

rehearsals/performances in August and September of 2012. This is a paid position. -

Minority actors are encouraged to audition.

Those interested in “How I Became Pirate” must be available to travel across the country

October 2012 to May 2013.
