Open auditions will be held to cast the production of Edward Sakamoto's local drama Dead of Night. The show will be directed by Taurie Kinoshita and runs May 24 - June 24, 2018.
Pre-statehood Honolulu, 1956: despite recently unionizing, Alex and his three best friends desperately struggle to provide for their families. The men decide to violently pressure their company's boss to meet the union's demands. When money is always the bottom line, can idealism and friendship ever win?
There will be a free audition workshop held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Windward Community College, Palanakila 224. This optional workshop is an opportunity for all interested to work with the script and director, learn the best way to prepare for this audition and hone your audition skills.
