Jeff Klitz (Broadway credits include “Guys & Dolls,” “Lennon,” “Hot Feet,” “Chicago,” and more) and renowned vocalist
Christine Cornell (credits include ARC Stages’ “The Apple and Other Slip-Ups,” Papermill’s “The Sound of Music,” BAM’s “Four Saints in Three Acts” with the Trinity Choir, and more), this acclaimed ensemble will perform close-harmony arrangements of popular songs (pop, rock, jazz, world music and originals) at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and outside venues. Live auditions will take place on Wednesday, October 13, and weekly rehearsals will happen on Wednesdays from October through mid-May from 7:15-8:45pm. Click

bkcm.org/brooklyn-harmonics-teens/ for more information.

In addition to this ensemble, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s Community Music School also offers a variety of classes for teens who are interested in exploring music, including
Songwriting for Teens. Young people ages 12-18 who are interested in learning how to channel their emotions into a song are invited to join this creative community of young songwriters. Teens will collaborate and learn the tools to develop a songwriting practice. No experience is required, and classes take place on Saturdays at 3:15pm.

BKCM offers classes and private lessons for all ages. Sign up for private lessons and add on a group class or ensemble (like one of the above) for 50% off – pairing individual study with collaboration is a great way to enhance your skills. Visit
bkcm.org or call 718-622-3300 for more information or to register. All activities will take place in person at BKCM’s home at 58 Seventh Avenue.

The health and safety of BKCM’s students, guests, faculty and staff remain a top priority. Please review the organization’s COVID-19 policy
