ANNOUNCES YOUNG ENSEMBLE AUDITION DATES FOR
CHARLES DICKENS’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Auditions for ages 5 to 13 to be held at McCarter on Sept. 17 and 18
McCarter Theatre Center will be continuing its annual tradition in December of 2017
with its reimagined version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. To complete the cast of professional
performers and the adult Community Ensemble members, McCarter is looking for a new group of young
actors ages 5-13 to form this year’s Young Ensemble.
Sign-Ups for A Christmas Carol Young Ensemble Auditions will be held at McCarter Theatre Center on
Wednesday, September 13 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Information will be provided at this time regarding auditions, rehearsals, and performances. Parents
will then be able to sign up their children for an audition. Children are not required to attend, but there
will be a fun and educational activity for those who do.
If you are unable to attend the sign up day, online sign-ups will open Wednesday, September 13 at 6:00pm.
After you register online, we’ll give you a call with your child’s specific appointment time and follow up with
a confirmation email containing their audition materials.
Please note that no audition will be given without an appointment.
Auditions for A Christmas Carol Young Ensemble will be held at McCarter Theatre Center on Sunday,
September 17 and Monday, September 18.
Callbacks will be on Tuesday, September 26.
