Jefferson Performing Arts Society will hold auditions for various principal, sub-principal, supporting, and ensemble roles for the upcoming production of 42nd Street. Please note, we are trying out a different format for your convenience to keep you from having to come for multiple days or for more than a couple of hours. Be prepared to sing and dance on the same day. You only need to pick your vocal audition time; your dance audition time will be assumed according to the following format, therefore, you will not need to sign up for dance auditions. Auditions will be held at the following dates and times: - Sunday, January 12:
- 7pm - 8pm: Vocal Auditions - Group A
- 8pm - 9pm: Dance Auditions - Groups A & B
- 9pm - 10pm: Vocal Auditions - Group B
- Tuesday, January 14:
- 7pm - 8pm: Vocal Auditions - Group C
- 8pm - 9pm: Dance Auditions - Groups C & D
- 9pm - 10pm: Vocal Auditions - Group D
- Sunday, January 19:
- 7pm - 8pm: Vocal Auditions - Group E
- 8pm - 9pm: Dance Auditions - Groups E & F
- 9pm - 10pm: Vocal Auditions - Group F
Location: Teatro Wego - 177 Sala Ave, Westwego, LA 70094 All auditions are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. You MUST sign up via the link provided. Please, DO NOT come to auditions without first scheduling an appointment. Please bring two copies of your headshot and resume to the audition. Please bring appropriate shoes for the dance auditions.
