Auditions for 42nd Street

Auditions will be held at the following times:


VOCAL Auditions- Sunday, November 17, 2019 @7pm to 10pm

VOCAL Auditions- Monday, November 18, 2019 @ 6pm to 9pm

DANCE Auditions- Wednesday, November 20, 2019 @ 6pm to 9pm


Everyone who auditions should sign up for one vocal audition and one dance audition.

All auditions are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. You MUST sign up via

the link provided. Please, DO NOT come to auditions without first scheduling an appointment.


All roles are open to audition EXCEPT FOR JULIAN MARSH which will be played by Broadway star Brad Little. All ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Those seeking a particular role should prepare a song from the show that the desired character sings. Those seeking ensemble roles can sing anything from the show, but a few bars of "42nd Street" or "Lullaby on Broadway" should suffice. We will have copies of the music at the auditions. An accompanist will be provided. 


Please bring two copies of your headshot and resume to the audition. Please bring appropriate shoes for the dance auditions. 


Video auditions will be accepted UNTIL NOVEMBER 22nd, but all are strongly encouraged to attend the auditions in person. Email any video auditions to audition@jpas.org. Please include your headshot and resume in the same email as the link to your video audition. You do not need to schedule an audition appointment to send in a video audition.

In its 42nd Season, JPAS presents the ultimate show-biz musical, 42ND STREET which celebrates Broadway, Times Square, and the people who make the magic of musical theatre. Aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer comes to the big city from Allentown PA, and soon lands her first big job in the ensemble of a glitzy new Broadway show. But just before opening night, the leading lady breaks her ankle. Will Peggy be able to step in and become a star?
