Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Annual Mother's Day Weekend at New Jersey Performing Arts Center

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to NJPAC's Prudential Hall for its annual Mother's Day weekend performances, marking the first season under new Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack. The program features five world premieres, including works by Maija García, Fredrick Earl Mosley, Matthew Neenan, Jamar Roberts, and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Samantha Figgins, and Chalvar Monteiro. Additional highlights include the company premiere of Medhi Walerski's Blink of an Eye, a new production of Judith Jamison's A Case of You, and repertory favorites such as Ronald K. Brown's Rapturous Grace and Alvin Ailey's iconic Revelations. Founded in 1958, the company continues to celebrate African American heritage and the universal power of dance.
