Character Descriptions Jesus of Nazareth: Male-presenting, late 20s–30s. (Tenor/High Baritone | A2–G5) Judas Iscariot: Male-presenting, late 20s–30s. (Tenor/High Baritone | D3–D5) Mary Magdalene: Female-presenting, 18–30. (Mezzo-Soprano) King Herod: Gender open. Highly theatrical. Ensemble until breakout. Caiaphas: Male-presenting. High Priest. (Bass | C2–F4) Peter: Gender open, 20s. One of Jesus’ followers. Pontius Pilate: Gender open. Simon Zealots: Gender open. Also in Ensemble. Annas: Gender open. Priests / Apostles / Ensemble: Male & Female. Strong singers and dancers. All roles are open to actors of all ethnicities and genders unless otherwise stated.
