The Wiz of Oz at Vanguard Theater Company

Welcome to our mash-up of the classic and contemporary movie musicals! We created this show to exemplify Vanguard's mission of D.R.E.A.M. Children of all different complexions and backgrounds have come together to create this unique compilation, which tells the beloved story of Dorothy's adventures in OZ with all of your favorite songs! With the performances being at the tail end of the month when, as a Nation, we celebrate the accomplishments of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Vanguard couldnt think of a better way to embody Kings dream. We hope that through this show, our own D.R.E.A.M. (which leads with Diversity) paints a very clear picture of how we long to live in this world together - in harmony.
