Alice Rothman-Hicks (AEA), Steve Shoup (AEA), and Jack Turell appear in Larry Rinkel's short farce "The Fable of January and May," freely adapted from Chaucer's "The Merchant's Tale" from "The Canterbury Tales." One of nine plays in the ThinkFast Play Competition at the Burgdorff Center, Maplewood, NJ. Written, directed, and composed by Larry Rinkel.

In this ribald, irreverent update from Chaucer, the impotent rich old January takes a lovely young wife May. But his randy secretary Damian finds a way to roll May in the hay.
