A professional theater company, ATG was founded in 2012. Since its inception, ATG has become a “launching pad” for future both Off-Broadway and international productions and film projects, as well as a premiere resource for future leaders in the theater community. Several of our world premiere productions and readings have gone on to healthy afterlives and accolades, both internationally and nationwide. Our recent world premiere production of Tell Them I’m Still Young starring Emmy-Award winning Andre Braugher and Tony-Award winning Michele Pawk received unanimous critical acclaim and played to packed houses every night. Our world premiere production of Marry Harry was recently made into a motion picture after having opened Off-Broadway in 2017. Following our world premiere production of Bubble Boy by the authors of the hit films Despicable Me and The Lorax, the show has been licensed for productions around the world, recently released a cast album, and was presented at the prestigious 54 Below in New York. Our 2013 production of Himself and Nora opened off-Broadway in June of 2018, and our World Premiere musical Small Town Story was also presented at 54 Below shortly after appearing at ATG.
