The Princeton Triangle Club, continuing its tradition of presenting an original musical comedy, will present an encore performance of the newest Triangle Show at the McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, New Jersey this May at Princeton’s reunions. Created by Princeton University’s most talented undergraduates, Ship Happens: A Cruisical! will play its final performances Friday, May 24th, 8pm; and Saturday, May 25th, 7pm.
Climb aboard the SS Giznee Fairytale, a cruise with all of the amenities - buffets, shuffleboard, and even magic? While other passengers enjoy their luxurious journey, twins Isla and Lindsay venture below decks, only to be swept away in a current of schemes and whimsy. Come find out more at the swashbuckling, high-kicking, shipshow that is Ship Happens: A Cruisical! Directed by Marc Tuminelli, choreographed by Katelin Zelon, and music directed by Pete Mills.
For 133 years, Princeton’s Famous Triangle Show has entertained audiences as the nation’s oldest touring collegiate musical comedy troupe. Based at McCarter Theatre, “the House that Triangle Built,” in Princeton, NJ, Triangle creates an original mainstage musical every year written, conceived of, and performed by students, directed and choreographed by professionals. The Club boasts a rich history and long list of distinguished alumni including F. Scott Fitzgerald, class of 1917, Jimmy Stewart ‘32, Brooke Shields ‘87, Peter Mills ‘95. Ellie Kemper ‘02 and Catherine Cohen ‘13. This year’s members include over 100 students - writers, composers, marketers, technicians and performers - who come from diverse backgrounds and academic interests but have a shared passion for original musical comedy.

About the Theatre
McCarter is one of the country's flagship theatres and a cultural asset for all of Central New Jersey. A nationally renowned, independent performing arts center located on the campus of Princeton University, the company is a multi-disciplinary creative hub of arts and ideas offering theater, music, dance, spoken word, and educational programs for all ages.
Known for its commitment to creativity and excellence, as well as its thoughtful and engaged audience, McCarter has provided a home for artists since its incorporation as an independent nonprofit theatre in 1963, inheriting a legacy of artistic excellence going back to the building’s opening in 1930. Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, Kaufmann & Hart’s You Can’t Take It with You and William Inge’s Bus Stop, all had their premieres on McCarter’s stage, paving the way for a long history of collaborations with playwrights to premiere remarkable plays that have gone on to hundreds of productions across the world. The company is the recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award, and won again for Best Play for Christopher Durang’s Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.
McCarter is co-led today by Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen and Executive Director Martin Miller.
