Set in 1936, the play’s events center around Broadway star William Gillette, known for his portrayal of the illustrious sleuth Sherlock Holmes. When Gillette invites the cast of his latest hit show to celebrate the Christmas holidays at his Connecticut mansion, the last thing anyone expects to find under the tree is murder! Mystery and hilarity in equal parts ensue, as Gillette must assume the role of real-life Holmes and crack the case before the murderer strikes in time to ruin everyone’s New Year’s Eve as well.
