Howell, NJ. Disneys Frozen JR. is playing at Howell Middle School South on April 1st at 7:30 pm and April 2nd for two performances: 2:00 matinee and 7:30 pm. Disneys Frozen Jr., with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and book by Jennifer Lee, tells the story of sisterly love and acceptance between Princesses Anna and Elsa. It is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Tony nominated Broadway adaptation. Leading the cast and crew of over 60 middle school students are Lauren Jarmon (8th grade) as Anna, Grace Epstein (8th grade) as Elsa, Oliver Konopack (8th grade) as Kristoff, Elliot Dahm (7th grade) as Hans and Brennan Boyce (6th grade) as Olaf. Sven, the adorable reindeer will be played by Danny Lanza (8th grade), along with Young Anna played by Paige Steinberg (6th grade), middle Anna played by Elinor Ciuraru (8th grade), Kaitlyn Waterman (6th grade) as Young Elsa and Delaney Byrne (8th grade) as middle Elsa. The ensemble features many character roles, snow and summer chorus, the Hidden Folk, the Oaken family and the townspeople of Arendelle. After a long intermission, this will be the first school musical for this cast and crew!
