Disney's High School Musical on Stage at Howell Middle School South

HOWELL, NJ (February 10, 2023) Howell Middle School South is proud to announce its 2023 spring musical production of Disney’s smash-hit High School Musical on Stage for three performances on March 31 and April 1!

Over 80 Howell South students have been working for months learning the story of classmates from different backgrounds and interests: jocks, brainiacs, thespians and skater dudes coming together to create a school production.  

Basketball team captain, Troy Bolton (Elliot Dahm, 8th grade), and the brainy new girl, Gabriella (Sofia Mendez, 8th grade), cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for their high school musical. Drama stars, Sharpay Evans (Kaitlyn Waterman, 7th grade) and her sidekick brother Ryan Evans (Brennan Boyce, 7th grade), do everything in their power to prevent anyone from taking their lead roles. The enthusiastic and talented cast includes Chad Evans (Eric Wazeka, 8th grade), Zeke Baylor (Anthony Lisi, 7th grade), Taylor McKessie (Julia Limongello, 6th grade), Kelsi Neilson (Hailey Lao, 8th grade), and Martha Cox (Arianna Mustacchio, 8th grade) who lead their friends through the fun-filled escapades.  

Will they stick to the status quo? Or join the rebels’ alliance that opens doors for everyone to enjoy their own passions? Audiences will enjoy this ever-popular Disney phenomenon with award-winning songs: “We’re All in This Together,” “Start of Something New", “Bop to the Top” and “Breaking Free.” Disney’s High School Musical is fun for the whole family.
