American Roots is part of New England Conservatory's CMA Spring Ensemble Festival, a series of end-of-semester performances featuring student ensembles from across the Contemporary Musical Arts program. Led by faculty mentor Eden MacAdam-Somer, the ensemble presents work developed throughout the semester through collaboration between students and their instructors. The festival highlights the CMA program's wide-ranging musical approaches, including original compositions, experimental works, and innovative interpretations of contemporary repertoire.
