1776 at Stephen J. Capestro Theatre at Roosevelt Park

Set in the summer of 1776, this musical follows John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson as they work to convince the members of the Second Continental Congress to vote for American independence and sign the Declaration of Independence. Leading the cast are Maximilian Jurisic as John Adams, Brian Lynch as Benjamin Franklin, and Finnian Burns as Thomas Jefferson, with a large ensemble including Matthew Maiolo, Shane De Lacy, Sean Lynch-Littlejohn, Jo Ellen Burton, and Olivia Conti among others. The production is directed by Ed Carlo, with musical direction by John Brzozowski and choreography by Susie Paplow. Performances are held nightly at 8:00 pm on the open-air stage, with no Sunday performances.
