Princeton’s Famous Triangle Show to Open 119th Year With Brand New Production STORE TREK, 11/13 & 11/14

By:

With its newest production Store Trek, Princeton's famed Triangle Club boldly goes where no musical comedy has gone before to the crass crossroads of corporate greed and American consumerism. The production will run Friday and Saturday, November 13 and 14 at 8pm on the Matthews stage of McCarter Theatre Center (91 University Place, Princeton).

Welcome to the World's Biggest Box Store, where the aisles go on for miles, and evil lurks behind every breathtaking bargain! With original music and lyrics by Princeton's best and brightest, this year's all-new musical extravaganza descend into the deep depths of deep-discounting, where the fun is econo-sized and the laughs are free (with ticket purchase!)

Following on the heels of Triangle's recent successes, Stark Raven Mad! (2008) and A Turnpike Runs Through It (2007), the highly skilled team of professionals (and Triangle alumni) return for Store Trek: director Glen Pannell '87, choreographer Hans Kriefall '87, and music director Peter Mills '95. New to the team of professionals will be costume designer Karl Ruckdeschel, whose Broadway credits include associate designer for Rock of Ages and Avenue Q (also Las Vegas, US tours and New World Stages). He also served as associate designer to William Ivey Long on Annie Get Your Gun.

Tickets are $22 - $35. Student tickets are $10 (on the web use the STUTIX promo code). To charge tickets by phone, call the McCarter Ticket Office at (609) 258-2787; toll-free at 1-888-278-7932; or online at www.mccarter.orgMcCarter Theatre is located at 91 University Place, Princeton, NJ.

The Princeton Triangle Club is the largest student performing arts group at Princeton University and the only student group that performs on the Matthews stage of McCarter Theatre Center.
