NJ Festival Orchestra Presents HOME FOR THE HOLIDAY POPS Concert at MPAC
New Jersey Festival Orchestra presents a holiday pops concert, "Home for the Holidays," featuring performances by MPAC's Teen Performing Arts Company, Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 3 pm. Tickets are $19-59.
The program will present popular holiday favorites as well as curiosities to welcome in the holiday season. Traditional carols, holiday brass and a host of signature versions of familiar fare will delight including Mykola Leontovych's atmospheric Carol of the Bells, and Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride and Christmas Festival. Featured artists from MPAC's Performing Arts School presenting a diverse spectacle of holiday and Broadway classics will charm and remind that it's family and friends that make this time of the year so special. Classic movie-lovers can also look forward to cherished music from It's a Wonderful Life, The Polar Express, Mame and more. "We believe there is something for everyone in this performance," said Maestro David Wroe. "But above all, our program is a vessel for children, parents, grandparents and friends -- indeed the entire community -- to come together through music and celebrate this unique time of the year."Mayo Performing Arts Center:
