Dutch National Ballet's Junior Company will kick off its new touring programme Ballet Bubbles with a tryout on 25 January 2023. Since its foundation in 2013, Dutch National Ballet's Junior Company has secured a remarkable place in the international dance world.
The opening night of The Sleeping Beauty will take place in Dutch National Opera & Ballet, in Amsterdam, on 12 October. Sir Peter Wright's production of The Sleeping Beauty has been the jewel in the crown of Dutch National Ballet's repertoire for over forty years now. This season, the company will be dancing 21 performances of the glittering ballet, in the period from mid-October to the beginning of January.
Last season, Dutch National Ballet celebrated its anniversary by primarily showcasing Dutch choreographers, but this season the company will also turn the spotlight on prominent international choreographers as well as on major works from abroad. Dutch National Ballet will be presenting a season jam-packed with new creations as well as a few classics.
