Thomas Søndergård leads the Minnesota Orchestra in this hour-long, relaxed concert experience bringing Hans Christian Andersen's tales to life through orchestral soundscapes. As a fellow Dane, Søndergård brings a personal connection to Andersen's world, guiding audiences of all ages, including individuals with autism or sensory sensitivities. Audiences are encouraged to arrive early for lobby activities including trying instruments, making art, and dancing.
