The Hired Man at The Crane Theater

Theatre Pro Rata presents The Hired Man, a new play by Minneapolis playwright Heather Meyer, directed by Jennie Ward. Set on a Wyoming cattle ranch, the story explores family, identity, inheritance, and the consequences of long-buried secrets, blending classical tragedy with magical realism. The cast includes Jessica Winingham, Andy Chambers, Jenny Ramirez, Wini Froelich, Bee Davis, and Phi Hamens Nelson. The production marks a homecoming for Meyer, whose long relationship with Theatre Pro Rata began nearly a decade ago during the play's early workshop development.
