Anyone Can Whistle at The Conn Theater

Minneapolis Musical Theatre presents a staged concert of Anyone Can Whistle. We will revisit Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents’ legendary Broadway flop in a stripped-down presentation that highlights the groundbreaking score that foreshadows Sondheim’s incredible work in the 1970s, even while staying true to its Golden Age roots. This madcap tale of a bankrupt town, phony miracles and the dangers of conformity will be directed by Max Wojtanowicz, with music direction by Walter Tambor.
