Minneapolis Musical Theatre (MMT) presents GRUMPY OLD MEN: THE
MUSICAL, the Twin Cities premiere of an uproarious new musical based on the classic 1992 film.
Performances will run April 3 – 19, 2026 at the Conn Theater in Minneapolis (1900 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403).

Featuring a book by Dan Remmes, with music by Neil Berg and lyrics by Nick Meglin, GRUMPY OLD MEN: THE MUSICAL tells the tale of Max and John, two neighbors who have been feuding for most of their lives. When an intriguing new woman comes to town, their feud reaches new heights as they face-off as romantic rivals. Filled with laughs and lively music, GRUMPY OLD MEN: THE MUSICAL is a heartfelt reminder that no matter your age, there’s always room to grow. MMT’s production will be directed by Kari Steinbach, featuring music direction by Mary Cay Stone and choreography by Jenny Morris Eisenbraun.
