July 23, 2025 Detroit Public Theatre has announced its 11th season, which will feature a mix of new work, contemporary classics, and audience favorites. The season opens October 1, 2025, with the first licensed U.S. production of Here There Are Blueberries, and will conclude in June 2026 with King James, Rajiv Joseph’s acclaimed exploration of friendship through basketball.About the Theatre
