Direct from the Tony Award-winning revival of Company, Nicholas Rodriguez (One Life to Live, Sex and the City 2) presents his brand-new concert, SINCERELY, SONDHEIM, a heartfelt tribute to the lyrical and musical genius of Stephen Sondheim, Monday March 2 at 7:30pm at The Berman Center for Performing Arts in West Bloomfield, MI.
Inspired by the thousands of handwritten letters Sondheim penned to fans and colleagues throughout his life, Rodriguez weaves together the composer’s own words with soaring performances of beloved songs. The concert explores Sondheim’s fascinating relationships with Broadway legends, including Oscar Hammerstein II, Jerry Herman, Jonathan Larson, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, alongside Rodriguez’s own personal reflections.
Audiences will enjoy selections from iconic works, including Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, and more — brought to life in an intimate, moving concert experience that celebrates both the brilliance and humanity of Stephen Sondheim.
