Makoce is a new play by Larissa FastHorse, presented as part of the FIM Flint Repertory Theatre's 2026 New Works Festival. This zombie horror play offers a unique twist and highlights FastHorse's distinctive voice as the first known female Native playwright produced on Broadway. Audiences will experience staged readings of Makoce, along with other innovative works by playwrights Shannon TL Kearns, James Anthony Tyler, and Lina Patel, fostering a conversation around the evolving landscape of American theatre. The festival runs from February 13 to 15, bringing together powerful narratives and a chance to engage with the artists behind them.
