Do You Feel Anger? at Spectrum Theater

An empathy coach named Sofia is hired to teach empathy to employees of a debt-collection agency plagued by lawsuits, whose workplace is governed by hostility and dysfunction. As Sofia leads lessons in listening and vulnerability, the office's dysfunction reveals something more sinister beneath the surface. Directed by Dr. Bridgett Vanderhoof, the cast features Emily J. Haan as Sofia, Jordan Moriah as Eva, Will Gearring as Jon, Carter Spetoskey as Howie, Jason J. Flannery as Jordan, Justine Olson as Sofia's Mother and Janie, and Joe Carmolli as the Old Man. The play uses absurdist comedy to examine empathy as a corporate initiative and questions of accountability in the workplace.
