The Ringwald Theatre's Gay Play Series Opens 6/16

The Ringwald Theatre is thrilled to announce the 8th installment of its wildly popular Gay Play Series (GPS). The festival returns in June with new short plays based on Gay Fan Fiction and a big old show tune Sing-Along!
GPS will run for one weekend, June 16th-19th, 2017 at The Ringwald Theatre in beautiful downtown Ferndale.
The 2017 GPS will kick off on Friday, June 16 at 8:00 PM with the original One Act Festival, this year all based on Gay Fan Fiction. Short plays based on Harry Potter, Friends, Disney Princesses and Star Wars will be featured. The One Act Festival will repeat on Saturday, June 17 at 8:00 PM and again on Sunday, June 18 at 3:00 PM.
Monday, June 19th we welcome Eric and Gerianne: The Dynamic Duo as they bring their show tune sing-along show to The Ringwald. Come prepared to sing your favorite show tune and to have the time of your life!
As always, audience members will be voting for their favorite script. The winning script will receive an additional performance at the closing ceremonies on Monday, June 19 at 8PM, prior to The Dynamic Duo. Audience members will also be asked to vote for a favorite performances and director.
Admission to individual events during this year's GPS will be $10 per event.
Tickets can be purchased at www.TheRingwald.com or at the theatre box office. The Ringwald box office opens 45 minutes before performances and tickets can be purchased with cash or credit/debit card. The Ringwald Theatre is located at 22742 Woodward Avenue in the Times Square of downtown Ferndale.
