Extended Reality:
Frank Lloyd Wright & Franz Kafka
Charles N. Mason and Shawn Crouch, composers. Dana Kaufman, librettist
Join us for new music with an experiment in augmented reality with cell phones and 3-D glasses. Mason’s six-movement work is inspired by stories by Franz Kafka and his magical realism and Crouch’s one-act opera, Stained Glass, tells the story of Mamah Borthwick¬–the romantic partner of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
The Last Hundred Season 23/24 is made possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners, the City of Coral Gables, and a research grant from the Frost School of Music.
