Summer Dances & Two Pianos is a collaboration between Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami and Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion, featuring internationally acclaimed piano duo Stephanie & Saar performing live alongside DDTM's dancers. The program includes a company premiere by choreographer DaYoung Jung and world premiere commissions by DDTM Artist-in-Residence Yanis Eric Pikieris and company dancers and choreographers Selah Jane Oliver and Rafael Ruiz-del-Vizo. The musical program ranges from Alfonso Peduto's Aftermath to Beethoven's Pastorale, with a highlight being a new creation by Pikieris set to Fantasia de Tres Mundos, a jazz-infused composition by Dranoff Music Director Martin Bejerano. The evening explores the interplay between neoclassical dance and live two-piano performance, pushing classical art forms into fresh territory.
