BEEHIVE: THE 60s MUSICAL at Delray Beach Playhouse

BEEHIVE: THE 60s MUSICAL celebrates the powerful female voices that defined the 1960s in a high-energy musical revue featuring 40 iconic songs from artists like Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Janis Joplin. Told from the perspective of six young women coming of age during this transformative decade, the show follows their journey from first Beehive Dance to the challenges faced by a nation. The cast includes Zoe Kanter, Anneliese Wolfanger, Rachel Whittington, Annaya Charlicia, Noelle Nicholas, and Samara Shavrick, directed by Joseph Zettelmaier with music direction by Elijah Gee and choreography by Briley Crisafi. The show runs 100 minutes with a brief intermission and features a live band performing hits like It's My Party, Be My Baby, River Deep Mountain High, and Try.
