2022 Broadway World Award Nominee for Best Cabaret Show – Miami, John Lariviere, returns to the stage with his cabaret show, A Tribute to Robert Goulet—an elegant homage to one of Broadway’s most legendary baritones. Lariviere, a celebrated cabaret, concert, and jazz singer who regularly appears at theatres and clubs throughout Florida, brings to life the golden era of musical theatre through the unforgettable songs that defined Robert Goulet’s illustrious career. Audiences can expect such classics as “Almost Like Being in Love,” “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “On a Clear Day,” “She Touched Me,” and “The Impossible Dream.” Goulet’s dazzling debut in Camelot marked the beginning of a remarkable career spanning nearly six decades across stage, screen, and recording studios. A Grammy Award winner with a voice that captivated generations, Goulet’s enduring legacy continues to inspire performers and audiences alike. John Lariviere has established himself as one of South Florida’s premier interpreters of classic American music. He specializes in songs from Broadway and the Great American Songbook, infusing each performance with storytelling artistry. He has been featured live on television’s The Suncoast View (ABC Channel 7) and Spotlight on the Arts, and on radio stations KDW (97.5FM) and WLRN (91.3FM). His past tributes include the critically acclaimed Moon River: The Songs of Johnny Mercer, which headlined at Venice Theatre and enjoyed successful runs at The Mizner Park Cultural Center, The Delray Beach Playhouse, and The Plaza Theatre. His popular show, The Sinatra Songbook, has sold out four consecutive years at the prestigious Florida Cabaret Festival. With A Tribute to Robert Goulet, John Lariviere continues his mission to honor the great composers and voices of Broadway with sophistication and charm.
