Talk of The Arts- Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series announces its Spring 2010 Events Schedule. Kicks off Wednesday, March 24 with Arito Moreira - Introduction to Hand Drumming. The show starts at 11:00 am in Theatre 2 and is a Free Event.

The acclaimed world and jazz percussionist discusses his personal musical history, reminisces of days with Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Weather Report, and talks about his Brazilian upbringing.

Bill T. Jones - Lecture: Participating in the World of Ideas: The How and Why in Making and Doing
Starts at 12 pm in Theatre 1
Free Event
The acclaimed choreographer and artistic director will speak about the creative process of Serenade/The Proposition and the way in which his work strives to poeticize activism.

Robert Wierzel - Lecture: Working in Theater Today: The Art of Collaboration

Free Event
The award-winning lighting designer and USF graduate will discuss the art of collaboration on the modern theatre stage, including his 20+ year career designing for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company.
