Joint Choral Concert Unites Miami and Gulf Coast Singers
The Miami Gay Men's Chorus announces "Bi-Coastal," a collaboration with the Gulf Coast Men's Chorus to present concerts on March 18, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. at Unity on the Bay (411 NE 21st Street, Miami) and on March 19, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church (5690 N. Kendall Drive, Coral Gables). Prices are $15 and $20 each; $10 with I.D. for students or senior citizens and group rates are available for 20 or more. The Miami Gay Men's Chorus will perform: Manly Men; Salvation is Created (in Russian); This is My Country; Bittersweet Tango; The Ensemble: The Pasture, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Eugene Butler's Gloria. The Gulf Coast Men's Chorus will perform: On with the Show; Just A Single Voice; Old Mother Hubbard; When I Have Sung My Songs to You; Let's Keep It Straight and Sarasota. Together the choruses will perform Chorus of Lovers and Friends; Old Friend; Color Out of Colorado and The Awakening.
