Five Women Wearing the Same Dress is an audacious comedy by Alan Ball, writer of the Academy Award-winning American Beauty and the hit HBO series Six Feet Under and True Blood. Taking refuge from a wedding reception in an upstairs bedroom, the reluctant bridesmaids learn that despite their many differences, they all share a common bond that runs much deeper than their identical dresses.
