Circle Mirror Transformation, by Annie Baker, follows five strangers who sign up for a community center acting class in a small Vermont town. Through awkward warm-ups, improv games, and unexpected personal revelations, the group forms connections they never anticipated. The production features Monique Peaslee-Foote as Marty, Richard Kincaid as James, Sam Bennett as Schultz, Juliana Desnoyers as Lauren, and Chelsea Hermann as Theresa, directed by Wanda Strukus with scenic design by Dane Leeman. The design team is staging the play not on the stage but in the center of the Hackmatack barn, drawing on the venue's 50-year history as a community space.
