Jenny Wiley Music Theater Hosts Alumni Reunion, Now thru 7/28

Alumni of the Jenny Wiley Music Theater will celebrate with a reunion, today, July 25-28th, 2013. Events will include attending performances of "The Sound of Music" and "Oklahoma" at the JW Amphitheater.

Jenny Wiley Theatre, located in Prestonsburg, Ky, presents productions of classic Broadway musicals, comedies, historical dramas and holiday productions at the Jenny Wiley Amphitheatre, located within the Jenny Wiley State Resort Park.

The theater's first musical was South Pacific, performed in the summer of 1965. Some theatre alumni have later achieved celebrity in television, film and Broadway musicals, including Broadway stars Michael Cerveris (Evita), James Barbour (Jane Eyre), Lawrence Leritz (Fiddler On The Roof), Paige Davis (Chicago) and Mary Stout (Beauty & The Beast); Sharon Lawrence, NYPD Blue and Desperate Housewives; Jim Varney, Ernest Goes to Camp; Tommy Kirk, Old Yeller; Ron Palillo, Welcome Back Kotter; Eileen Bittman Barnett, Days of our Lives; Cynthia Bostick, As the World Turns; Jeff Silbar, composer of "The Wind Beneath my Wings" and RAndy Jones of The Village People.
