Verily 80's Romeo & Juliet at The McCadden Place Theatre

A reimagining of Shakespeare's timeless tragedy set in a nostalgic 1980s American high school. Through a complete gender reversal of its characters, the production offers a fresh perspective on love, family, friendship, and fate while preserving Shakespeare's original language. The production marks the debut of Speak Low Productions, a new Los Angeles theatre company, and features a cast and creative team of more than twenty Los Angeles artists. Directed by Libby Letlow.
