The Half-Sibling Play at Atwater Village Theatre

Growing up in separate households, half-siblings Kweku and Amoaa have never been close. But when their father dies unexpectedly, a generational curse is unleashed, sending them from Brooklyn to Ghana to pay their respects and claim their birthright. The play explores sisters, brothers, and absent fathers, delving into the power of gods, the mystery of family, and what it means to come home. Written by Agyeiwaa Asante and directed by Ludmila Brito.
