The Group Rep presents Robert Harling’s contemporary comedy STEEL MAGNOLIAS directed by Kathleen R. Delaney and produced by Denise Downer and Mareli-Mitchel Shields.
Heartfelt, humorous, and moving, this sharp comedy celebrates the unbreakable bond of friendship and the search for family, not necessarily by blood. Set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon, six strong, witty, Southern women navigate life’s triumphs and tragedies with humor, sarcasm, support and grace.
The play runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. There will
be talkbacks with cast and crew after the matinee on Sunday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 29th.
