Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and the Morgan-Wixson is thrilled to be celebrating the occasion with this special musical version. Little Women follows the adventures of the March sisters -- budding author Jo, practical Meg, sweet Beth and romantic Amy -- who're coming of age during the Civil War under the care of their doting mother. A touching tale of young love, achieving dreams and the power of family, this song-filled adaptation at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre is designed for the entire family to enjoy. The show's Broadway run starred Tony-winner Sutton Foster (Younger), who was nominated for both a Drama Desk and Tony Award for her performance as Jo.

Teens Take On The Coming-of-Age Musical SPRING AWAKENING At Stella Adler Theatre
April 15, 2019A teen-helmed production of the Tony Award-winning rock musical, Spring Awakening, is set to open at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood on May 11, 2019. Directed by 14-year-old wunderkind George Baron, (whose directorial debut for the stage was his jukebox-styled Broadway musical revue I Confess at the Whitefire Theatre), the cast also features up-and-coming young talents performing in the adolescent roles with musical direction by Estani Frizzell. The musical is based on Frank Wedekind's 1891 controversial play about teenagers trying to find their way in the world amid the angst of sexual discovery. Featuring music by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater, the original Broadway production received eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and was hailed by the New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle as the Best Musical of the Year.
THE LOST VIRGINITY TOUR Opens 4/13 At McCadden Theatre
March 27, 2019The Los Angeles premiere of The Lost Virginity Tour by Cricket Daniel has been announced by producers Jay Donohue and Michelle Hanzelova for a limited run at the McCadden Theatre in Hollywood. Under the direction of Kristin Towers-Rowles, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Paulette Dozier, Madonna Magee, Toni Perrotta, and Joy Rinaldi. There will be one preview performance on Friday, April 12, at 8pm. Opening is set for Saturday, April 13, at 8pm and the engagement runs through May 5 only.
