Homecoming is a solo dark comedy written and performed by Moth StorySLAM winner Dara Kosberg, exploring grief and identity following the loss of her mother. Kosberg, who spent over 15 years helping others navigate grief through storytelling and community building, recounts receiving the news of her dying mother while studying abroad in Australia, and the complicated mother-daughter relationship that follows. The show follows a winding path of humor, absurdity, and connection as Kosberg grapples with how to make amends with a parent after death. Directed by David Ford, with original direction by Iris Bahr and David Crabb, the production has performed to sold-out audiences across the country.
