DANCE AND PERSONALITY CONVERGE IN ENNEAGRAM IN MOVEMENT AT LA FEMME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Enneagram in Movement, a docuseries pilot that explores personality through dance, will make its Los Angeles premiere Thursday, October 22, at 6 p.m. at the 22nd LA Femme International Film Festival.

Created by writer and director Lauren Reins, the series follows nine dancers, each embodying one of the Enneagram’s personality types. Their performances give physical expression to the patterns that shape their lives, while candid interviews reveal the experiences and emotions behind the movement.

The pilot introduces Haley Davis, a professional dancer, choreographer and teaching artist whose work spans touring productions, music videos and dance education. Originally from Carson City, Nevada, Davis now teaches at studios and institutions nationwide, including Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

“In a time of growing division and disconnection, Enneagram in Movement reminds us that meaningful change begins within,” Reins said. “The Enneagram is a tool of compassion, helping us understand the inner patterns that shape how we think, feel and relate to others.”

Based in Seattle, Reins is a director, producer, choreographer and Enneagram coach. Her debut docuseries draws on more than two decades of experience directing stage productions, producing dance films and telling stories through movement.

John-John Roque served as director of photography and editor of the pilot. A Filipino American cinematographer and multimedia storyteller, Roque also brings a background in dance and choreography to the project. The series features music from Ryan O’Neal’s Enneagram album, released under the name Sleeping At Last.

Reins is seeking partners to help bring the full series to audiences. “The series focuses on the inner landscape and emotional well-being,” she said, “offering an opportunity to engage audiences with stories that inspire personal growth.”

Enneagram in Movement will also screen at the Awareness Festival in Santa Monica on Sunday, October 18, at 6 p.m. Tickets can be bought at: Awareness Festival – Films That Do More Than Entertain
