Emmylou Harris is the winner of 14 Grammys, recipient of the Polar Music Prize, and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Though she launched her career in the same Greenwich Village folk scene that gave rise to Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, she found her voice in California, where she became a mainstay of the burgeoning cosmic-country scene in the 1970s, writing, singing, and performing alongside The Flying Burrito Brothers and Gram Parsons. As a solo artist, she would become one of the most celebrated singers in country music, releasing acclaimed albums like Elite Hotel, Luxury Liner, and Roses in the Snow. Her ability to shape what The Guardian called one of musics most revered voices around the subtlest changes in a song, and to endow them with an incredible depth of emotion, has made her a constant influence on generations of singers, songwriters, and country musicians throughout the years. She makes her return to Walt Disney Concert Hall for the first time since 2005 for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
